Summer Scheme 2010
19th July – 4th August
The Summer Scheme, established in 2005, aiming to keep the children occupied during the summer break.
The most recent programme took place during the summer 2010, where it took place every Monday and Wednesday at the Foundation’s previous base in London. The aim was to strengthen their personal skills and basic Islamic knowledge while enjoying the break in weekly trips.
Mondays included lessons on Akhlaq, Fiqh and discussions that included topics about school and social barriers.
Wednesdays were solely for trips and they included a visit to Thorpe Park, Paintballing, boat ride and a barbecue at Wendover Wood’s in Buckinghamshire. The barbecue was redoubtably the most enjoyable of the trips, which ended with a small football match.
