Community Programs
Community Programs
At Alridha Foundation, we believe in the power of community and the importance of nurturing strong, supportive relationships. Our programs are designed to empower individuals, strengthen families, and provide opportunities for personal growth, education, and social engagement. We are committed to creating a welcoming space where young people and families can thrive, connect, and contribute to their community.
Youth Clubs
Our youth clubs for boys and girls provide a safe and engaging space where young people can explore their interests, develop new skills, and build meaningful friendships. These clubs offer a variety of activities, including sports, creative arts, leadership development, and team-building exercises. By participating in these programs, young people gain confidence, learn important life skills, and develop a strong sense of community and belonging.
Homework Clubs
Education is key to future success, and our homework clubs are designed to support students in their academic journey. These clubs provide a quiet and structured environment where children and teenagers can focus on their studies with the help of dedicated mentors and volunteers. Whether they need assistance with a specific subject, help with revision, or simply a space to concentrate, our homework clubs offer valuable support to ensure students reach their full potential.
Holiday Clubs
We understand that school holidays can be a challenging time for parents and guardians, which is why we offer engaging and fun-filled holiday clubs during the summer, winter, and autumn breaks. Designed for children aged 6-16, our holiday programs provide a mix of educational activities, creative workshops, outdoor adventures, and recreational games. These clubs not only keep children entertained but also help them develop new skills, make new friends, and enjoy enriching experiences during their time off school.
Fundraising Events
Giving back to the community is at the heart of everything we do, and our fundraising events play a crucial role in supporting our charitable efforts. We regularly organize events that bring people together to raise awareness and funds for important causes. Whether it’s charity dinners, community fairs, sponsored challenges, or donation drives, our events provide an opportunity for individuals to contribute, get involved, and make a positive impact.
Mother-Daughter Clubs
Our mother-daughter clubs are a wonderful opportunity for mothers and daughters to spend quality time together in a supportive and nurturing environment. These sessions offer a range of activities, from creative workshops and wellness sessions to discussions on personal development and family bonding. The goal is to strengthen relationships, encourage open communication, and build lasting memories while fostering a sense of community among families.
At Alridha Foundation, we are committed to making a difference in the lives of those we serve. Whether you are looking for a safe space for your children, educational support, or meaningful ways to engage with your community, we welcome you to join us in our programs.

Research & Publications
The Alridha Foundation’s Research Arm, established in 2007, works to bridge the Shi’a Hawza tradition with Western academia, fostering greater understanding of Islam and Shi’a studies. Through rigorous research, publishing, and academic engagement, we explore both traditional and contemporary issues from a Shi’a perspective.
Community Research & Publications
Our research initiatives focus on religious heritage, philosophy, politics, and bioethics, offering original analysis to enrich academic and societal discourse. We publish books and scholarly articles, including The Shi’a of Samarra and Islamic Metaphysics in Bioethics, which contribute to global discussions on Shi’a history, politics, and ethics.
Classical Texts Translation
To make key Shi’a texts more accessible, we are working on translating classical works such as Kitab Sulaym ibn Qays al-Hilali and Rijal ibn al-Ghadhairi, helping bridge the gap between seminaries and academia.
Library Services
Our library, home to over 3,000 books in English, Arabic, and Farsi, serves as a vital resource for Islamic studies, covering theology, history, politics, and the arts.
Academic Events & Conferences
We organize academic conferences and discussions to highlight important issues. Past events include the Samarra: Heritage and Culture conference at SOAS, University of London, and Minority Reports in Pakistan, which examined the persecution of Shi’a communities.
